Dear FS Forum Member, Thanks for being part of the FS family, which includes the largest online fishing community on the web. It’s because of you, the community, that it is what it is. Any forum is only as good as the members who make it. However, in order for us to continue to make the board available to you we need to update our board software, which will require new passwords for each of you. Your member name, number and post total will stay intact, but you will have to reset your password. I’ve listed some easy steps on how to do this below. Resetting Your Password 1. Go to http://forums.floridasportsman.com/user/password 2. Fill in your username OR e-mail address that you were using on the old forum. 3. Click the button marked “E-Mail New Password” 4. Soon after, an email should arrive from the forums. If you did not receive your email, check to see if your spam filter caught it. You might want to add noreply@forums.floridasportsman.com to your contacts list… that will help it get through. 5. The email contains a link that will allow you to access your account on the new forums. Click the link, or copy the url and paste it into your browser’s address bar. This can only be used once. 6. After you log in, you will be directed to your profile, where you should immediately change your password to one of your choosing. Trouble Shooting Just about every ocean crossing I’ve made there’s been an unexpected hiccup, some mechanical issue, or unexpected weather. It always seems we didn’t account for something. Hopefully that’s not the case with our transition here, but if for some reason your username does not work, your email is no longer accessible or there are any other unforeseen problems, please contact us at the following link: http://forums.floridasportsman.com/contact/. Thanks again to you, and all of the volunteer moderators, who make the FS Forum the number one fishing community in the world. Here’s to calm seas and a safe crossing, Blair Wickstrom Publisher Florida Sportsman blair@floridasportsman.com
